Timeless classics:What’s your favourite?
Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Diablo 2; all games that people play even till now. It goes to say how far a good game can go. Forget graphics! Gameplay’s what’s important. I mean, as long as it fits the bill for your definition of a “Game that i would play”; it’ll last you forever. Sure, you might get bored after awhile, but the excitement of picking up that game again is just like when you first played it. Expectations, fulfillment; thought temporal, still exist regardless. Like why some people watch titanic 10xx+ times. If you get my drift. I mean, games are the same too! they all fall under entertainment!

I play a lot of old games pretty regularly. Some stuff is just too old, or gets boring too quick nowadays though. Some stuff I can still play though without it ever getting old ; Star Ocean 2, the Xenosaga trilogy, Battlefield 2, several visual novels…
As for non-games, I used to watch Tokikake on a daily basis, literally for like a year. So I guess I’m a bit like those ‘titanic’ types sometimes.
Yea, I mean, just look at game freak; their remaking their games. I mean, regardless, Pokemon is still a hit, heck, I just started playing Pokemon(yellow) again a week ago. My all-time favorite is probably Diablo 2 though, the experience changes everytime you play. With Diablo 3 coming up, the hype is on, you know?
Yeah, I’m pretty excited for D3 too, kind of pisses me off though that Blizzard is spending all its funds and time into that horrid sack of crap WoW instead of their good games like SC2 and D3
@tallon,
well, WoW is earning them money like there’s no tomorrow for so many years.. Logically they will want to concentrate as much as they can on making it milk more money.
For D3 and SC2 , not really hoping for any stuff. I mean how long have we all waited ? They really know how to make us wait…
And i thought watching Honey and Clover over and over for a year was crazy.. Looks like i found a rival.
The WarCraft universe will always have a part of my heart… Not only the gameplay is important, but the world, too. The feeling when playing WoW if you played WCIII is undescribeble.
