1mbps not enough for HD video streaming

1mbpsnotfor-hd.JPG

I was going to watch a wordcamp presentation by Tim Ferriss,  i turn on the HD option to watch it on my 19″ monitor. Turns out 1mbps ain’t fast enough to watch it without interruptions(video probably more than 1GB). In fact, i’m waiting for it to load as i’m typing out this post.

My internet connection is a ADSL 2+ Singnet 10mbps(down) line , with a upload rate of 1mbps. Don’t think i’m the weakest link here.

Sometimes VideoPress really max out my connections which makes me happy and sometimes days like this , i have to wait so long just to watch. if only everyone is using FTTH.

Anyway , below is the presentation ” Blogging without killing yourself”

What speed are you getting/downloading from this video?
