StreetFest 09 : Name the cameras

name-e-cams.JPG

Well looks like this post might kick start my “cold engine”.  Right so i was at street fest 2009 , 2 weeks back. I would say a lot better than SOYA despite being a smaller event. I didn’t really take a lot of photos or rather i didn’t wanted to. Luckily my friend was there to nudge me to take.

I probably would like to announce (yet again) that i have equipment-inferiority-complex and my FujiFilm 6500 is starting to age. Oh the new Olympus Pen E-1 looks really yummy!! :D any sponsors ?

Any case, lets play the “NAME the CAMERA” game !!!! or rather “SPOT the P-n-S Camera!!!”

    Reason #2 why I hate attending events nowadays… and yet I still do.

    The Oly E-1 is retro-cool but costs as much as an entry level DSLR. I’d rather go with the Panasonic G-1.

    BTW, I spot 5 PnS and 1 HP camera. :P

    I will say this: plenty of a300/a350, some D90 and D200/D300 and only some rare Canon 40D/50D. No other brands spotted as far as I know.

    Speaking of which, Sony-siders and Nikonians outnumbered Canonites at StreetFest. Any ideas why?

    P.S.: Your database is in Latin_Swedish encode? Please convert them to UTF-8, or else people can’t post up Greek symbols.

    @Mayat,

    I think the retro design alone is all that matters :P

    The P-n-S cam spotting is becoming more rare as more dslr pops out. Darn those parents that spoils their kids.

    @TP ,

    wow all the camera researching prior to your purchase made you a walking salesman ..

    Oh bout the database encode, will go about in doing it.. thanks :D And its not just greek symbols thats affected.
