Cosfest VIII : Clash with Daicon

On the coming 11th and 12th July 2009 , there will be 2 big events going on. One is Cosfest VIII and the other is Daicon@Malaysia. I like cosfest quite a lot, in fact my first con that i attended was cosfest 2006. Sadly i’ve already decided to attend daicon. So i’ll be missing this year’s cosfest. Seriously cosfest should be held like a weekend after daicon. Why clash with each other? But oh well…

Which will you attend? Daicon or Cosfest VIII ?

    One day for each?

    Daicon seems the better option since you could catch the local cosplayers at other cosplay events coming up later in the year. Plus, Daicon is more akin to AFA. There’s more stuff to do rather than just ogling at cosplayers.

    :( not sure if i’ll be returning back to sg for cosfest. think i need to discuss with my friends to see what are their thinking.

    Neither. I would bet both events have their pros and cons but I am no longer interested. Besides DaiCon is far.

    I would suggest you stay at DaiCon for both days.
