What more reasons do you need to switch blogging platform to wordpress? I just stumbled on this feature which allows users to upload and stream video from their wordpress account after paying for the videopress option of course. However paying for such option has its perks so lets see the break down.
The cost to use the video sharing option,
- Enable videopress : USD$60/year
- Default 3GB storage : Free
- Extra storage from 5GB, 15GB, 25GB : USD$20, $50, $90/year
- unlimited bandwidth
For about USD$80/year , Personally i think is worth it if you have a huge readership(no worries about bandwidth leeching!) and you don’t really like the offering of youtube which is the 10min limit. If you’re or going into vlog, there’s more option to look out for
