2 years back when i first signed up for my webhosting account, i paid US$33/year for a
- 10GB storage / unmetered bandwidth [ 2007 ]
plan over at 3ix.com. Last year, they upgraded my plan to (still paid US$33/year)
- 30GB storage / unmetered bandwidth [ 2008 ]
which by the way already having problems using the 10GB in the first place. Today, i have a much bigger surprise, they upgraded it to a 150GB storage!! Thank you 3ix !!!!! I love you guys! (still US$33/year)

Now, for some stats, so far my two years plus(and going) with 3ix, It is not without hiccups, my site got infected before but the staff was really helpful and guided me through some healing process. All was done up in 15mins, sweet.
Uptime wise, i don’t have the actual percentage or uptime. What i can tell you is, whenever i’m using, i can use. But still, there are some chances i will stumble upon maintenance or simply weird downtime. They resolve themselves normally under an hour or if is really bad, come back the next day and all should be alright. It has been rather smooth sailing for this site so far. I hope they will maintain this way for as long as i’m on their servers.
So if you’re looking for web host and you lack money, go and try 3ix.com. They have a US$1/month plan that runs @ 40GB storage/100GB bandwidth.
Oh just for some comparisons, my site barely uses 2GB of bandwidth per month.

wow that’s a good hosting company.. I got mine upgraded to reseller account because i was using too much bandwidth and CPU, from around your price to US$360 per year!.. lucky they gave me few weeks notice.. I’m with new hosting provider now haha
I may check that 3ix hosting in case my current one force me to upgrade next year

I’m using a 9USD/month plan now…. Lol.
It’s not bad, don’t think I seen any downtime so far o.O. I learn not to use dreamhost ever XD
