Today was having my daily dose of lifehacker.com , i came across this article about ‘Google Task’. Basically using your Gmail(seriously sign up for it if you don’t have), you enable the “Lab” feature called ‘Task‘. With that enabled, you can access the ‘Task’ feature via Gmail. Also you might be wondering what about it? Well point your ‘Chrome‘ into this address :: https://mail.google.com/tasks/ig

After which right click inside and click on “Create Application Shortcut” and… Presdo! [Please refer to the Lifehacker article here]

Mr Task appears on your desktop!! From there you can access your task list. Nifty eh? Now you have your light-weight task reminder on your desktop without the need to install any program :D !! It uses 9,000 K of memory or so , as reported by Chrome’s task manager(Shift + Esc). But it uses 14,000 K or so of memory on my pc, as reported by window’s task manager( ctrl + alt + del )

Just a little update on not being so connected as before, for one, my sleep definitely enjoys a better boost. I can sleep easier and better being less connected, maybe the brain stays stimulated much more longer after i log off just prior 5-10mins before i sleep. I use to worry about whether i could blog “enough” for at least a daily post but now it seems i don’t have such desires anymore. Which is good in a way.. Not to say i lost interest in blogging all together but taking a slower pace is always welcome. Also it gives me back “more” time.

In any case, see you guys next time. Ah there’s still DMC live action movie to talk about.. But that will have to wait. Till then!
