Second Life

Source : Torley

Welcome to Second life , where NUS student(my older sister) of a certain module need to partake and take over their younger siblings(me in this case) more powerful computer(my computer, she says her laptop don’t meet minimum requirement) to do their homework on. Can you believe it? homework/lesson from a virtual world? Singapore isn’t really 16,000,000 km sq, the actual size is just 707 km sq so why the need to attend lessons virtually? Maybe the module wants them to “experience”a virtual world since big companies like IBM do use this program for meetings and stuff. I’m just sore that my personal machine will be touched without my supervision.

Looking at the second life logo , it kind of reminds me of “Tomodachi” cult from 20th century boys. In anycase, are you on second life ?
