Now that i’ve rewatched gurren lagann , i get what the starting is all about. They first showed gurren lagann fighting with the dimensional government and boota’s evolved or humaniod form talking to “simon” but of course you wouldn’t know who is who other than it all looks so damn cool. I think the “simon” here could probably be Darry or was it Gimmy. Anyway is that boy , think the picture would help so here,
The introduction of gurren lagann really is explosively epic and thats what gurren lagann is all about in case you haven’t watch it before. A must-watch-no-matter-what. I hoped they will do a OVA or movie about the “future” or maybe the anti-spiral origin….. aye there just too many ways to milk the fans!.

Well…might not be the spin off you’re looking for, but there is a manga called Gurren Gakuen Hen which involves the Gurren Lagann cast in…high school.
…it’s still kinda manly though, in a prepubescent sort of way.
in five days the dvd version of the last movie will be avaliable, i hope for torrrent as well, theprevious one was ready for download the same day it was put on sale so i hope this happens again. fuk ye
