Here’s the link to the article @ ANN. Basically this discussion focus on fansubs and together with bamboo , casey , sara and a fansubbing group called “Freelance Fansubs, they talk about it.. well half of it anyway.
After reading through of what is available , it got me thinking about what might happen if fansub didn’t exist ? Would this blog be around(not that i survive on aniblogging) ? Would the internet have so many blogs of the “aniblogging” genre or even the “japanese subculture”?
In anycase , have to wait till next week of Chicks on Anime to find out the second half of their discussions.
Also , i’m curious does anyone out there reads ANN at all ? I don’t see much or any ANN love around the blogosphere.

I read the X button, Shelf Life and Buried Treasure at ANN. pretty good
I never bother with anything else other than the news and anime series info available on ANN.
Admittedly, not much at all. To be honest, I didn’t even know they had a news feed until recently.. I always went straight to their encyclopedia. =\
